Morris Museum STEAM Field Trip

Special STEAM Field Trip opportunity: tour the blockbuster exhibition, The Long View: From Conservation to Sustainability.

Available for Grades 2–12, on this tour students will:

·       Uncover the Roots. Beginning with Manifest Destiny and westward expansion, these artworks explore the foundational moments that sparked Americans’ relationship with their environment.

·       Charting the Course. Journey through pivotal events such as the first Earth Day and the passage of major environmental legislation that paved the way for change.

·       The Power of Art. Witness how artists like Ansel Adams and Robert Rauschenberg used their creativity to raise environmental awareness and inspire action, bridging the gaps between science, emotions, and social movements.

·       Climate Crisis and Solutions. Engage in thought-provoking discussions on the current environmental challenges we face and discover innovative approaches and solutions that aim to mitigate and reverse the effects of climate change.

This field trip is available only until November 5. The tour is FREE for public schools, with an optional $2 art activity. Register at least 2 weeks in advance.
