This special exhibition, which showcases the work of a dozen Dutch artists, was put together by Estill Curtis Pennington. With this exhibition, Mr. Pennington introduces to us the work of artists who reflect both a concern with the solidity of things in the formal composition of their work, and an implied subliminal narrative theme. In so doing, he also finds links with current trends in realist painting in the South.
