Sissie Morris, beloved wife of Billy Morris and museum cofounder, entered into rest Tuesday, April 28, 2020

All of us associated with the Morris Museum of Art, board and staff alike, mourn the loss of Sissie Morris and all that she embodied—graciousness, gentility, keen intelligence, a natural empathy toward others, and generosity of spirit. We can celebrate her life by looking to her as a model of a life well-lived and emulating her in every way we can.
