The Morris Museum and Historic Augusta present an evening with Mark McDonald. Mark served as the president and CEO of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation for fifteen years, and his career in historic preservation spans thirty-seven years. Mark will discuss Architecture of the Last Colony: Georgia’s Historic Places, 1733–2000. Edited by Mark, this book surveys the most important extant buildings in the state of Georgia, focusing on structures that showcase successful historic preservation practices and techniques.
