Nationally acclaimed watercolor artist and juror of the 2025 exhibition on view at the Morris, Ryan Fox will give a demonstration of watercolor batik—a process employing traditional watercolor paint and wax—to create a unique and beautiful batik painting on Japanese rice paper. 

The reception and awards will honor the eighty watercolor artists from throughout the United States whose work was chosen for the 2025 Georgia Watercolor Society’s (GWS) national exhibition. The GWS was founded in 1975 to promote the joy of watercolor through educational programs, demonstrations, workshops, outreach programs, and juried competitions. FREE.
