Donations to the Library

The library welcomes donations of books, videos, CDs, and similar items. Materials relating to American art and artists and Southern history, literature, and culture may be added to the library's collection, and other items may be sold at the library's annual book sale, usually held in November. The library reserves the right to determine which donated items will be accepted for the collection.

Neither the library nor the museum appraises gifts or potential gifts. For information about appraising books and other items, visit one of the following web sites:
