Center for the Study of Southern Art
Library Collection
The Center for the Study of Southern Art's holdings include more than 13,000 volumes, including books, videos, CD-ROMs, and sound recordings. The library subscribes to many periodicals about art and the South and has several collections of personal papers. There is an in-house online catalog of the library's materials, which are noncirculating.
The library participates in an informal library exchange program, which involves sending museum catalogs and publications to other museums and art libraries participating in the program.
Vertical Files
The vertical files, containing clippings and information from many types of sources, include more than 16,000 artist files, American museum files, subject and theme files, and files on the Morris Museum of Art.
