Georgia Studies: Images and Artifacts for Grades 3–5 and 8
The Morris Museum of Art and the Augusta Museum of History have collaborated to bring Georgia history to life. In out most popular tour, students visit both museums and learn to observe and interpret images and artifacts that tell the story of Georgia. The museum experience can be extended into the classroom through the use of a resource kit, available in the media centers at all public elementary and middle schools in Richmond, Columbia, and Burke Counties. Other schools may borrow the kit from the museum.
