Art as a Window to the Mind

Contemporary painter and sculptor Don Cooper, whose work is heavily influenced by Eastern spiritual philosophies, and Alex Mabe, Ph.D., professor and clinical psychologist at the Medical College of Georgia, discuss the psychological implications behind the artist’s work, with a focus on the impact of his experiences in the Vietnam War and the process of healing through art. Reception follows. Free for Morris Museum members and invited guests only.
