Art at Lunch and Jewelry Trunk Show: Gogo Ferguson. Artist Gogo Ferguson, who designed the wedding bands for the late John F. Kennedy, Jr., and Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, discusses her unique jewelry and home accessory creations. Members, $10; nonmembers, $14. Lunch by A Catered Affair. Paid reservations due June 15. After the program, join Gogo in the museum store for a special trunk show and sale.

Exhibition Opening: No Nature, No Art. Celebrate the opening of William Willis’s show. First-floor foyer. FREE.

Tuesday, August 2 special events
Day Trip to Beaufort, South Carolina. Enjoy a full day in this beautiful coastal town. Tour the John Mark Verdier House, a restored early-nineteenth-century federal-style mansion, learn about Gullah culture at the Penn Center’s York W. Bailey Museum, and explore the ruins of the Old Sheldon Church. Participants will have plenty of free time to enjoy lunch overlooking the water and to shop in one of the many art galleries. Members, $45; nonmembers, $60, due by July 15. Cost includes bus transportation, snacks, tours, and admission fees. Call 706-828-3867 to reserve your seat.

Exhibition Opening: Preservation of Place: The Art of Edward Rice.Celebrate the opening of the exhibition Preservation of Place: The Art of Edward Rice. Members, $10.00; nonmembers, $15.00. Rice will be available to sign the exhibition catalogue and posters. Cost includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, two drink tickets, and a performance by Blue Studio at 6:00.
