Morris Museum Presents Nature-based Sculptural Installations by Augusta State University Students
The public was invited to view eight nature-based sculptural installations by Augusta State University art students on November 7, 2003 at the former Veterans Administration Hospital property, adjacent to the Forest Hills Golf Club. The project was the result of an innovative partnership between the Morris Museum of Art, the property's owner, and ASU's Department of Fine Arts. The participating young sculptors–all students in Professor Brian Rust's undergraduate installation art class–were instructed to create a design to accent the property using as many natural materials from the site for their project as possible.
View the progress of the class as documented by Professor Brian Rust.
